MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello my little elves!

Merry Christmas! what a great opportunity we have to remember the birth of our Savior & gain a new perspective about this life that we do live. my favorite scripture about Christ's birth is in the Book of Mormon. It is 3 Nephi 1:13-14 which reads, " 13 Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given,and on the morrow come into the world, to show unto the world that will fulfill all that which have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets. 14 Behold, come unto my own, to fulfill all things which have made known unto the children of men from the foundation of the world, and to do the willboth of the Father and of the Son—of the Father because of me, and of the Son because of my flesh. And behold, the time is at hand, and this night shall the sign be given."
I am so grateful for the love that Christ has for all of us, that He was willing to bear the sins and burdens of the entire human family so that we could one day dwell together with our Heavenly Father. What a glorious gift!

This week I got a new companion! Her name is Sister Wustrow and she is from Namibia, Africa. She has the most beautiful accent! She has only been in Georgia for 6 days now, and I have loved being able to show her my favorite parts about being a missionary! She has a powerful testimony and I know it will bless the lives of so many here in our area.

It has been a humbling experience to say the least as I train a new missionary, I still have no idea what the heck I am doing! I feel encouraged by the knowledge that I have, that Christ is with me each step of the way. When I feel inadequate I turn to Him to help and guide me to the right path. He has been where I am, & He is the only one who knows how to get through it.

We have been doing lots of finding since Sister Wustrow got here! & That means a lot of knocking doors.. oh my. Everyone in the South is very friendly & they love praying, so we have been able to do lots of that! I think I have quads of steel from how much we have been walking..there is no flat ground in Georgia just to let ya know. :-)

I am excited for the week ahead! Families will be home for Christmas so we will get to teach entire families! What a blessing! I love my Savior so much and I am grateful that we are able to celebrate His birth this week, and also get to talk to my family! ;) I miss y'all and will be thinking of each of you this Christmas! Remember the reason for the season.
 Love you!

Sister Bell
