hi everyone!
hi everyone!
happy belated valentines day, hopefully y'alls day was filled with love! we were spoiled by our ward & got a lot of chocolate & candy :) so yummy! that was the perfect valentine for me!
this week was very fun, we went to the temple & on exchanges with other sisters in the mission! we went knocking on lots of doors & prayed with lots of people! some families even let us come inside, & offered us tea & coffee.. bless their hearts. ;-) they serve in a young single adult ward, so we tagged along to an activity with them & it was a blast! I think it was more funny than it was anything else. we played chair soccer, i'm not sure if any of y'all know what that is, but oh boy was it a heated tournament! they live in an apartment with two other sisters, so there was six of us all staying there that night. best sleepover ever. one of the sisters that stays there went to high school with me, so it was good being able to catch up & feel a little bit of home :)
we went and saw the Brooks again this past weekend. they made us dinner and wayne showed us these videos of when he used to rap, I die! he was actually pretty good, but they fact that he was rapping made me laugh. :) his girlfriend Jessica still wants to get baptized! so we are just working on the two of them getting married. they both want to now, & have actually considered getting married in march! WOOT! hopefully I will still be in this area for it.. we shall see! going on six months here, crazy!
today the elders are going to make us fried chicken, it will be the first time having it here!! I have very high expectations, I will report next week on the outcome of it. it will either be really good.. or really bad. pray for me!
this week I was reminded of our Heavenly Father's divine plan for each of us. that He is truly in control & is willing to help us out when we feel like we might have messed up that plan. just trust Him!
I sure do love all of you! let me know what is going on in each one of y'alls lives! have a great week!
love,
sister bell.
